Founded in 2013, the farm provides a diversified Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program as well as produce, meat, and eggs for local restaurants and farmers markets. == History == The land for Letterbox Farm was purchased in January 2015 when Scenic Hudson, an environmental organization based in Poughkeepsie, New York, acquired a conservation easement of the 62 acres of productive farm fields and watershed lands adjacent to South Bay Creek, a significant Hudson River tributary that feeds the South Bay wetland at the gateway to Hudson. The Scenic Hudson deal made the land—historically known as Wyda Farm—much more affordable, allowing the group, who had previously been leasing the property for two seasons, to purchase it.
